This Smoothie Recipe was one I found for a cleanse and immune boost early this winter and I've adapted it from a smoothie to a bowl.
3-4 ice cubes
1/2 cup of filtered water
A handful of green leaves (baby spinach, any kind of lettuce, or my favourite, baby rocket)
A couple of mint or parsley sprigs
1/3 of a garlic clove
1cm of fresh ginger
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Cayenne pepper to taste (I keep adding more! So good!)
I also add my magnesium dose
You can add a tablespoon of lemon juice (I have my lemon juice first thing, so I don't bother)
(I don't sweeten mine but you may if you like with maple syrup, honey or stevia)
Blend like crazy, pour into the bowl and add your favourite toppings - see my Granola Goodness recipe.
